My name is Carl Shortt III. I have been an Automotive Technician for more than 15 years. I have experience diagnosing and repairing everything from small equipment to large industrial construction and earth moving equipment. I have been an Oklahoma Certified Alternative Fuel Technician for approximately 10 years.
I have been producing and using biodiesel for approximately 4 years. I started making biodiesel in pop bottles. From there I expanded to where I am today.
I designed, engineered and assisted in the construction of the 150 gallon batch processor currently in use at the University of Central Oklahoma.
That processor and operation has been on local television several times and in many of the local newspapers.
I also designed, engineered and constructed a 55 gallon processor currently in use for my own vehicle.
I have assisted clients from Florida to California with their biodiesel projects.
